Denmark: Manufacturing activity growth gains momentum in April
Manufacturing output increased 1.3% month-on-month in seasonally adjusted terms in April (March: +1.1% mom). Looking at the details of the release, the figure was largely driven by non-durable consumer goods production rebounding.
On an annual basis, manufacturing production grew 13.6% in seasonally adjusted terms in April, which was significantly better than March’s 11.7% expansion. Still, the trend pointed down, with the annual average growth of manufacturing production coming in at 16.7%, down from March’s 17.0% reading.
