Denmark: Manufacturing activity growth dips in December
Manufacturing production rose 5.7% month on month in seasonally adjusted terms in December (November: +8.1% mom). December’s softer reading was partly due to a deterioration in non-durable consumer goods output growth. In contrast, production of intermediary and capital goods rebounded.
On a seasonally adjusted annual basis, manufacturing production rose at a more moderate pace of 7.3% in December (November: +14.7% yoy) Accordingly, the trend pointed down, with the annual average growth of manufacturing production coming in at 9.9% in December, down from November’s 11.6% reading.
