Denmark: Manufacturing production returns to growth in June
Latest reading: Manufacturing production was up 6.4% in seasonally adjusted month-on-month terms in June, following a 3.5% decline in the previous month.
Relative to the previous month’s figures, readings in June improved for non-durable consumer goods (+3.8% in seasonally adjusted month-on-month terms vs -4.2% in May), investment goods (+16.8% vs -6.6% in May) and intermediate goods (+1.9% vs +0.1% in May).
In seasonally adjusted year-on-year terms, manufacturing production increased 9.7% in June, following 4.7% growth in the previous month.
