Denmark: Consumer confidence hits over three-year high in September
Consumer confidence came in at 8.2 in September, up from August’s 4.4 and marked the best reading since July 2018. As a result, the index moved further above the 0-point threshold, separating optimism from pessimism among consumers.
The rise came on the back of an improvement in consumers’ views on the general economic situation over the next and past 12 months. In addition, sentiment regarding households’ financial situation over the next and past 12 months also strengthened.
