Denmark: Business sentiment becomes more pessimistic in September
Business sentiment came in at minus 9.0 in September, down from August’s minus 2.0. As such, the index moved further below the 0-point threshold, signaling starker pessimism among Danish businesses.
September’s downturn came on the back of a deterioration in firms’ views with regards to production—which became pessimistic. Additionally, businesses had more pessimistic views regarding order backlogs. More positively, they became more optimistic with regards to sticks of finished goods.
