Denmark: Business sentiment becomes more pessimistic in February
Business sentiment deteriorated further in February, coming in at minus 2.0, down from January’s minus 1.0 and marking a 13-month low. Consequently, the index moved further below the 0-point threshold, indicating pessimism among businesses.
February’s downtick was due to firms’ less upbeat views regarding production expectations, which more than offset less pessimistic views with regard to order backlogs and a more positive view on stocks of finished good.
