Czech Republic: Inflation comes in at highest level since our records began in September
Inflation rose to 18.0% in September, above August’s 17.2%. September’s result marked the highest inflation rate since our current records began. The pick-up was largely due to rising prices for housing and utilities.
The trend pointed up, with annual average inflation coming in at 12.7% in September (August: 11.7%).
Finally, consumer prices rose 0.80% from the previous month in September, accelerating from August’s 0.44% increase.
