Czech Republic: Industrial output skyrockets on low-base effect in April
Industrial production skyrocketed 55.1% year-on-year in working-day adjusted terms in April, which followed March’s 14.1% jump and benefited from an extremely low-base effect. Meanwhile, the trend improved, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at 2.5% from March’s minus 5.0%.
On a monthly basis, industrial production rose 1.9% in seasonally-adjusted terms in April, following March’s 2.6% increase.
