Czech Republic: Industrial output growth decelerates in November
Industrial output grew 0.5% year on year in working-day adjusted terms in November, which was below October’s 3.1% increase. Looking at the details of the release, manufacturing output growth eased, while production decreased at a sharper pace for mining and quarrying. On the flip side, output in the electricity, gas and steam sub-sector contracted at a softer pace.
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, factory output increased 3.1% in November (October: -3.7% mom). Meanwhile, the trend weakened, with the annual average growth in industrial production coming in at 1.2% in November, following October’s 1.3%.
