Czech Republic: Industrial output expands at fastest pace since March in October
Industrial output rose 1.8% year on year in working-day adjusted terms in October (September: -4.9% yoy). The figure marked the best reading since March. October’s rebound was primarily driven by recoveries in manufacturing and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply production.
On a monthly basis, industrial production grew 2.9% in seasonally adjusted terms in October, rebounding from September’s 1.2% fall and marked the best result since November 2022. Meanwhile, annual average industrial production growth fell to 0.4% in October (September: +0.5%), which marked an over one-year low.
