Czech Republic: Industrial production shrinks in July
Latest reading: Industrial production was down 1.1% on a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis in July, following 1.4% growth in the prior month.
Relative to the previous month’s data, readings in July softened for manufacturing (-1.2% in seasonally adjusted month-on-month terms vs +0.9% in June), electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (+0.2% vs +5.3% in June) and mining and quarrying (-0.7% vs +2.7% in June).
In working-day adjusted year-on-year terms, industrial production rose 3.1% in July, following a 3.9% rise in the previous month.
