Czech Republic: Industrial output growth eases in June
Industrial production increased 11.4% year-on-year in working-day adjusted terms in June (May: +25.3% yoy). June’s slowdown was partly driven by softer manufacturing production growth, while electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply production declined at a sharper pace compared to the previous month.
On a seasonally-adjusted monthly basis, factory output rebounded, rising 1.0% in June (May: -3.6% mom). Meanwhile, annual average industrial production growth rose to 8.4% in June (May: +6.6%), signaling an improving trend in the industrial sector.
