Czech Republic: Economic sentiment dips in February
The economic sentiment indicator, published by the Czech Statistical Office (CSO), fell to 91.7 in February from 92.0 in January.
The business confidence index dropped to 92.5 from January’s 93.8. The result came on the back of weaker sentiment in the industry and trade sectors.
Conversely, consumer sentiment increased in February, with the index rising to 87.7 from 82.9 in January. The increase reflected households’ decreasing concerns over their own financial situations and the overall economic situation.
