Cyprus: Industrial output records lowest growth since February 2021 in April
Industrial production expanded 0.6% year on year in April (March: +6.7% yoy). April’s figure marked the worst reading since February 2021. April’s deceleration was largely due to a slowdown in manufacturing output growth. In addition, electricity supply output lost steam.
Meanwhile, annual average industrial production growth fell to 4.9% in April (March: +8.1%). This signals a worsening trend in the industrial sector.
