Cyprus: Industrial output decreases at softer pace in January
Industrial output fell 0.9% in year-on-year terms in January, which was a smaller drop than December’s 2.1% decrease. The softer drop was partly due to an improvement in manufacturing output growth. In contrast, electricity supply output weakened.
Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average growth of industrial production coming in at 1.0% in January, down from December’s 1.3%.
