Cyprus: Industrial production falls in June
Latest reading: Industrial production was down 0.9% on a calendar-adjusted year-on-year basis in June, following 1.6% growth in the previous month.
Relative to the prior month’s data, readings in June worsened for manufacturing (-1.0% on a calendar-adjusted year-on-year basis vs +2.2% in May) and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (-4.5% vs 0.0% in May). In contrast, the reading for mining and quarrying improved in June (+8.2% vs +3.5% in May).
On a calendar and seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, industrial production was down 1.3% in June, following a 0.6% fall in the previous month.
