Croatia: Inflation decelerates in June from the prior month
Latest reading: Harmonized consumer prices increased 4.2% in annual terms in June, following a 4.9% rise in the previous month.
Relative to the prior month’s data, there were milder price pressures for food and non-alcoholic beverages (+0.7% on a year-on-year basis vs +1.5% in May), transportation (+7.3% vs +10.3% in May), housing and utilities (+13.1% vs +13.3% in May) and restaurants and hotels (+4.9% vs +6.2% in May).
Meanwhile, consumer prices increased 4.5% in June, following a 5.2% rise in the prior month.
Finally, harmonized consumer prices were up 0.13% in June on a month-on-month basis, following a 0.09% increase in the prior month.
