Croatia: Industrial output growth slows in October
Industrial output increased 1.0% year on year in working-day adjusted terms in October, which was below September’s 1.6% increase. The deceleration largely reflected a deterioration in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply and weaker manufacturing output growth. However, mining and quarrying production fell at a softer pace.
Meanwhile, the trend improved slightly, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at minus 0.8% in October, up from September’s minus 0.9%. On a monthly basis, industrial output decreased 1.4% in seasonally adjusted terms in October, contrasting September’s 4.3% expansion.
