Croatia: Industrial production falls in April
Latest reading: Industrial production declined 2.1% on a working-day adjusted year-on-year basis in April, following 0.8% growth in the previous month. April’s reading was the weakest since November 2024.
Relative to the prior month’s figures, readings in April worsened for mining and quarrying (-0.7% in working-day adjusted year-on-year terms vs +3.2% in March), electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (-11.3% vs -6.2% in March) and manufacturing (-1.5% vs +1.8% in March).
On a working-day and seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, industrial production fell 0.6% in April, following a 1.1% decline in the previous month.
