Croatia: Economic sentiment hits highest reading since May in November
Economic sentiment rose to 107.8 in November from October’s 106.3. November’s result marked the best performance since May. As a result, the index remained above the long-term average of 100, pointing to a positive near-term outlook for the economy.
The headline print reflected healthier sentiment in the construction and services sectors. That said, confidence in the industrial and retail sectors weakened in the surveyed month. Lastly, consumer confidence increased in November.
Considering indicators that are not used to calculate the index, employment expectations improved, while the economic uncertainty index fell in November.
