Costa Rica: Economic activity growth rises in October
Economic activity grew 7.5% in year-on-year terms in October (September: +6.3% ). The reading reflected a broad-based improvement, with activity in the agriculture, forestry and fishing, manufacturing and information and communication sub-sectors all improving in October. Meanwhile, annual average economic activity growth rose to 5.7% in October (September: +5.3%), which marked an over one-year high.
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, economic activity rebounded, rising 0.9% in October (September: -0.1% mom s.a.).
