Colombia: Economic activity slows in June
Latest reading: Economic activity increased 3.5% on a year-on-year basis in June, following a 4.2% rise in the previous month.
Relative to the previous month’s data, readings in June softened for agriculture (+0.6% on a year-on-year basis vs +0.7% in May) and services (+4.3% vs +5.6% in May). In contrast, the reading for industry improved in June (+3.2% vs +1.1% in May).
In seasonally adjusted month-on-month terms, economic activity fell 0.9% in June, following a 1.2% increase in the previous month.
