Colombia: Consumer sentiment rises in February
According to a survey elaborated by Fedesarrollo, consumer sentiment rose to minus 27.8 in February from January’s minus 28.6. Despite the uptick, the index remained below the 0-point threshold, indicating pessimism among consumers.
Consumers became less pessimistic about the economy a year ahead, their financial situations, and their buying intentions, causing the consumer confidence index to increase. That said, consumers became less optimistic about their financial situation a year ahead.
