Colombia: Consumer confidence sours further in December
The Fedesarrollo consumer confidence index came in at minus 7.0 in December, deteriorating from November’s minus 1.4. As a result, the index moved further below the 0-point threshold, and indicated pessimism among consumers.
The headline print reflected consumers’ less upbeat expectations regarding their economic situation over the next year, and more pessimistic views with regards to the country’s general economic climate in the coming 12-month period.
