Chile: Economic activity rebounds in June
Latest reading: Economic activity was up 2.4% in annual terms in June, following a 0.9% drop in the previous month. June’s reading was the strongest since September 2025.
Relative to the prior month’s figures, readings in June improved for mining (+9.8% on a year-on-year basis vs -11.6% in May) and non-mining (+1.4% vs +0.7% in May).
On a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, economic activity increased 0.6% in June, following a 0.1% fall in the prior month.
