Bulgaria: Industrial activity falls at sharper pace in November
Industrial production collapsed 10.9% year on year in November (October: -4.4% yoy). November’s notable weakening was partly due to a bigger fall in manufacturing production. In addition, mining output declined.
On a monthly basis, factory output decreased 3.2% in seasonally adjusted terms in November, contrasting October’s 1.6% expansion and marked the worst result since April 2020 Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at minus 7.9% in November, down from October’s minus 6.6%.
