Bulgaria: Industrial production falls at a softer clip in June
Latest reading: Industrial production fell 0.9% in annual terms in June, following a 6.6% fall in the prior month.
Relative to the previous month’s figures, the reading for manufacturing improved in June (+3.2% on a year-on-year basis vs -6.1% in May). In contrast, the reading for mining softened in June (-49.1% vs -32.5% in May).
In seasonally adjusted month-on-month terms, industrial production increased 0.4% in June, following a 0.5% drop in the previous month.
