Bulgaria: Economic sentiment declines in July
Latest reading: Economic sentiment declined to 94.7 in July, following June’s 95.0. The latest reading was below the long-term average of 100, pointing to a muted near-term outlook for the economy.
In July, sentiment worsened in the services sector (+2.1 vs +6.7 in June). On the flipside, sentiment improved in the industrial sector (-4.2 vs -5.2 in June), the construction sector (-6.7 vs -11.2 in June), the retail sector (+11.7 vs +11.0 in June) and among consumers (-25.9 vs -26.4 in June).
