Brazil: Economic activity cools in September

On an annual basis, economic activity fell 0.8% in September, a less pronounced decrease than August’s 3.9% fall and marking the best result since February. Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average variation of economic activity coming in at minus 3.3% in September, down from August’s minus 3.1% reading.
