Belgium: Consumer confidence decreases in July and remains below historical average
Consumer confidence fell to minus 13.0 in July from June’s minus 11.0, following three consecutive months of increases in the index. The fall came on the back of a deterioration in consumers’ assessments of the general economic situation of Belgium in the next 12 months. On the other hand, consumers’ sentiment regarding their financial situation improved marginally, while their sentiment regarding the labor market remained unchanged.
