Belarus: Inflation ebbs slightly in November
Consumer prices rose 0.51% over the previous month in November, which was below October’s 0.89% increase. November’s result marked the weakest reading since August. Looking at the details of the release, the slowdown was broad-based, notably driven by lower price pressures for food goods.
Inflation ticked down to 10.4% in November, from October’s 10.5%. Meanwhile, the trend pointed up, with annual average inflation coming in at 9.2% in November (October: 8.9%).
