Belarus: Inflation drops in February
Inflation edged down to 5.6% in February, following January’s 5.9%. Looking at the details of the release, prices for food and transport rose at a softer pace, while price pressures for information and communication rebounded.
In turn, annual average inflation fell to 4.2% in February (January: 4.7%).
Lastly, consumer prices rose 0.90% from the previous month in February, accelerating from January’s 0.80% rise.
