Belarus: Industrial output records slowest growth since May 2023 in January
Industrial output grew 5.4% year on year in January (December: +7.7% yoy). January’s outturn marked the worst reading since May 2023. The notable weakening was largely due to a deterioration in manufacturing production growth and weakening mining and quarrying output.
Meanwhile, the trend improved notably, with the annual average growth of industrial production coming in at 15.9% in January, up from December’s 13.8%.
