Australia: Inflation moderates in November
Inflation fell to 4.3% in November from 4.9% in October, marking the lowest reading since January 2022. Softer increases in prices for food, transport, health, and recreation and culture were behind the deceleration.
Meanwhile, annual average inflation moderated to 5.9% in November from 6.2% in October.
Lastly, consumer prices rose 0.41% over the previous month in November, up from October’s flat reading.
