Argentina: Consumer confidence rises in November
The Universidad Torcuato di Tella (UTDT) consumer confidence increased to 47.5 in November from 45.1 in October. Consequently, the index remained entrenched below the 50-threshold that separates optimism from pessimism among consumers.
Consumers grew less pessimistic over their future financial situations. Moreover, consumers’ expectations over the general economic conditions in the year ahead improved strongly. Conversely, their willingness to purchase big ticket items weakened.
