Angola: Inflation rises further in January
Consumer prices increased 1.94% from the previous month in January, marking the softest monthly rise since September last year and coming in above December’s 2.19% increase. The print was driven by rising food and non-alcoholic beverages and alcoholic beverages and tobacco prices.
Inflation inched up to 25.3% in January, slightly above December’s 25.2%. December’s figure was the highest inflation rate since December 2017.
