Angola: Inflation hits over two-year high in October
Consumer prices rose 1.99% over the previous month in October, picking up from the 1.91% rise logged in September. The result was driven by notable upticks in food and non-alcoholic beverages; alcoholic beverages; and transport prices.
Inflation came in at 24.1% in October, which was up from September’s 23.3%. October’s result marked the highest inflation rate since January 2018.
