Inflation came in at 3.4% in February, which was up from January’s 3.3%. February’s reading marked the highest inflation rate since August 2022, and was above the Central Bank’s 0.0–2.0% inflation target range. However, inflation is expected to move close to the Swiss National Bank (SNB)’s target range in H2 due to reduced supply constraints and weaker demand.
