United States: Home price growth accelerates in November
The S&P/Case-Shiller 20-city composite home price index increased 1.0% month-on-month in November, which up from October’s 0.8% rise.
Home prices remained elevated at 18.3% in annual terms in November, but was down from October’s 18.5% jump. Home prices rose at the quickest rate in Phoenix—for 30 months in a row now—followed by Tampa and Maimi. Overall, all 20 cities registered double-digit price growth in November.
