Ukraine: Industrial output plunges in August
Industrial production contracted 1.7% over the same month last year in August, a larger drop than July’s 0.2% decrease. Falling manufacturing output drove the deterioration.
Meanwhile, on a seasonally-adjusted month-on-month basis, industrial output fell 1.2% in August (July: -0.6% mom). Annual average variation in industrial production came in at minus 0.2%, deteriorating from July’s zero growth.
