Thailand: Inflation drops to lowest level since August 2021 in June
Inflation came in at 0.2% in June, which was down from May’s 0.5%. June’s reading marked the lowest inflation rate since August 2021.
Accordingly, the trend pointed down, with annual average inflation coming in at 4.5% in June (May: 5.1%). Meanwhile, core inflation edged down to 1.3% in June, from May’s 1.5%.
Finally, consumer prices increased 0.60% from the previous month in June, swinging from May’s 0.71% fall. June’s result was the highest reading since June 2022.
