Spain: Harmonized inflation stable in December
Harmonized inflation remained unchanged at November’s 3.3% in December. December saw another decline in housing prices as well as a softer increase in prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages.
The trend declined, with annual average harmonized inflation coming in at 3.4% in December (November: 3.6%). Meanwhile, core inflation fell to 3.8% in December from 4.5% in November, marking the lowest print since March 2022.
Lastly, harmonized consumer prices were unchanged in December over the previous month, following the 0.53% decrease seen in November.
