Slovenia: Harmonized inflation increases in November
Harmonized inflation rose to 10.8% in November, following Octobers 10.3%. The acceleration was largely driven by higher price pressures for food, as well as recreation and culture. That said, price pressures for housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels softened.
The trend pointed up, with annual average harmonized inflation coming in at 8.9% in November (October: 8.4%). Meanwhile, consumer price inflation ticked up to 10.0% in November, from the previous month’s 9.8%.
Lastly, harmonized consumer prices increased 1.10% from the previous month in November, accelerating from the 0.80% increase logged in October. November’s result was the highest reading since June.
