Slovenia: Industrial production decelerates in June
Latest reading: Industrial production was up 1.7% in annual terms in June, following a 3.9% rise in the previous month.
Relative to the previous month’s data, readings in June worsened for manufacturing (+2.5% on a year-on-year basis vs +5.3% in May) and mining and quarrying (-48.5% vs -37.9% in May). In contrast, the reading for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply improved in June (+5.1% vs -4.2% in May).
On a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, industrial production fell 2.0% in June, following a 0.7% rise in the prior month.
