Poland: Retail sales growth loses pace in February
Retail sales expanded 16.5% year-on-year in February, easing slightly from January 20.0% increase. Looking at the details of the release, February’s slowdown came on the back of declines in motor vehicles, motorcycles and parts and furniture, radio, tv and household appliances sales.
Meanwhile, the trend improved sizably, with the annual average growth of retail sales coming in at 16.2% in February, up from January’s 14.6%.
