Poland: Inflation falls to lowest level since September 2021 in November

Inflation edged down to 6.5% in November, easing slightly from October’s 6.6%. November’s figure represented the weakest inflation rate since September 2021. Looking at the details of the release, transportation prices fell at a more moderate pace in November compared to the previous month, while price pressures for housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels picked up pace.

Annual average inflation fell to 12.4% in November (October: 13.3%).

Finally, consumer prices increased 0.70% in November over the previous month, picking up from October’s 0.30% increase. November’s uptick was the highest reading since April.
