Poland: Industrial output growth gains steam in February
Industrial output rose 3.3% compared to the same month of the previous year in February, which followed January’s 2.9% increase. The print marked the best reading since November 2022. February’s upturn came on the back of an improvement in mining and quarrying and manufacturing production.
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, factory output fell 0.1% in February (January: +0.6% mom). Meanwhile, the trend improved, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at an over one-year high of minus 8.6%, up from January’s minus 10.3% reading.
