Poland Business Confidence June 2021

Poland: Business confidence weakens in June

June 24, 2021

Business confidence came in at minus 0.6 in June, down from May's minus 0.3. As a result, the index moved further below the 0-threshold, and indicated pessimism among businesses.

June’s reading largely reflected firms’ weaker expectations over their future personal financial situation as well as over their current personal financial situation. Moreover, their expectations over the future general economic situation, future production and future order books turned less optimistic compared to the previous month.

FocusEconomics Consensus Forecast panelists expect fixed investment to expand 2.1% in 2021, which is up 0.4 percentage points from last month’s estimate. For 2022, the panel sees fixed investment growth at 7.9%.
