Peru: Inflation comes in at highest level since January in September
Inflation came in at 4.3% in October, which was down from September’s 5.0% and marked the lowest reading since August 2021. That said, the print remained above the Central Bank’s 1.0-3.0% target range for the 28th consecutive month.
Annual average inflation dropped to 7.1% in October from 7.4% in September. Lastly, consumer prices fell 0.32% over the previous month in October, following the 0.02% increase logged in September.
