Netherlands: Business confidence picks up in November
Business confidence rebounded to 3.0 in November from October’s 2.5. Novembers result marked the best reading since August. Consequently, the index remained above the 0-threshold, indicating optimism among businesses.
The print reflected more upbeat views about future output. That said, producers were more downbeat about their stocks of finished products. Albeit moderating slightly, producer confidence remained the highest in the electrotechnical and machinery industries. The transport sector was the second most optimistic, followed by the textiles and metal sectors.
